Great Homemade Cookie Contest as Part of the National Nursing Home Week

Steve Wallace, Executive Director of the Southern Midcoast Maine Chamber of Commerce, tastes the cookies as the Celebrity Judge in the staff homemade cookie contest to celebration National Nursing Home Week.

Darlene Chalmers, Executive Director, Mid Coast Senior Health Center, offers a plate of cookies to Steve Wallace, Executive Director, Southern Midcoast Maine Chamber of Commerce. As Celebrity Judge, Steve sampled all the entries to declare a winner in the Great Homemade Cookie Contest as part of the National Nursing Home Week. Staff, residents and guests all enjoyed the variety of cookies in the competition.



New Public Bus Service in Brunswick
August 20, 2010

According to this August 20th, 2010 Times Record article, three hybrid buses are set to begin serving Brunswick residents within a few weeks. Mid Coast Senior Health Center is among the stops on the bus route, giving residents an enhanced freedom of movement around town. Rates are $1 for a one-way fare, $2 for a day pass, and $20 for a monthly pass for those 65 and older.
