Volunteer Opportunities at Mid Coast
Senior Health Center in Brunswick, Maine
Volunteers
bring a wealth of enjoyment and satisfaction to the residents
and patients of the Mid Coast Senior Health Center. If you
have a skill, a hobby, a talent, please consider sharing.
Here are some of the many ways that the volunteers are involved:

the ideas
- bringing a pet therapy dog for visits
- sharing an artistic talent or crafts opportunity
- singing, or playing a musical instrument
- playing games, working puzzles
- walking someone around the community
- simply sitting and visiting
- manning the Welcome Desk at Thornton Hall
- assisting with the Corner Store
- manning the telephone after hours at the Bodwell/Mere
Point Nursing Desk
- giving manicures
- talking about your hobby, showing your vacation slides
- baking with residents or as residents watch
- all ages are welcome to volunteer
- Scout and other youth groups are welcome with adults
chaperoning
